Nismo will open Performance Centres in Australia, with the first to launch at Nissan Ferntree Gully in Victoria in late 2026

Nismo will open Performance Centres in Australia, with the first to launch at Nissan Ferntree Gully in Victoria in the second half of 2026. The Australian rollout, announced by parent Nissan Motorsports & Customizing Co. (NMC) and Nissan Oceania, makes Australia one of the first markets outside Japan to host Nismo’s Omori Factory expertise.

The Australian centres will provide a direct link to Nismo’s Omori Factory in Japan, support vehicle restoration programmes, and feature factory-certified Nismo Meisters. Further locations beyond Ferntree Gully are to be announced.

“Nismo’s global expansion is about bringing the brand closer to customers in the right markets, with the right products, services and experiences. Australia is a natural priority because of its mature performance culture, strong GT-R community and clear appetite for authentic Nismo heritage, performance parts, technical expertise and motorsport-driven experiences,” said Yutaka Sanada, President and Chief Executive of NMC and global head of the Nismo brand.

The Australian rollout builds on a global Nismo expansion strategy announced in December 2025, which targets restoration, restomod, and parts businesses initially focused on the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32, R33, R34). NMC was formed in 2022 by integrating Nissan’s motorsports and customisation subsidiaries, uniting Nismo and Autech.
