Cheche Group Inc. (“Cheche”), China’s leading auto insurance technology platform, has announced an expanded strategic partnership with Volkswagen (Anhui) Automotive Company Limited (“Volkswagen Anhui”), through its agreement with Volkswagen (Anhui) Digital Sales and Services Co., Ltd. (“DSSO”). The collaboration comes as Volkswagen Anhui continues to introduce new models to the market.
Under the agreement, Cheche will deliver comprehensive risk management services for Volkswagen Anhui’s upcoming ID.EVO model. The support will span the entire insurance value chain—from underwriting to digital claims management—offering integrated, technology-driven solutions tailored to the unique requirements of the fast-growing new energy vehicle (NEV) sector.
The ID.EVO, Volkswagen’s first fully connected, full-size pure electric SUV concept, represents the brand’s latest milestone in advancing electric mobility. Cheche’s role will be to provide scalable, intelligent insurance infrastructure that supports Volkswagen’s broader transformation strategy in China and worldwide.
“Our collaboration with Volkswagen Anhui reflects our commitment to enabling the NEV ecosystem with smart, end-to-end insurance solutions,” said Lei Zhang, Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Cheche Group. “We’re proud to help power the next chapter of sustainable mobility.”
This strengthened partnership underscores Cheche’s position as a key driver of digital insurance innovation in China’s dynamic NEV industry.
