Omron’s Stuttgart Automation Center wins 2025 iF Design Award

Omron has received the 2025 iF Design Award for its new Automation Center (ATC) in Stuttgart, Germany. Opened in April 2025, the center is designed as a collaborative hub where Omron partners with customers to create innovative manufacturing solutions.

This is the second time Omron has earned an iF Design Award for one of its permanent facilities, with the first awarded in 2021 for its Tokyo ATC.

The iF Design Award, organized by iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hannover, is among the world’s most prestigious design competitions. This year, it attracted approximately 11,000 entries from 66 countries and regions. A panel of 131 design experts evaluated submissions based on innovation, aesthetics, functionality, usability, sustainability, and overall impact.

The Stuttgart ATC embodies Omron’s vision for the future of manufacturing, offering state-of-the-art automation technologies and a collaborative space for solving complex production challenges.

Omron says the facility is designed with sustainability in mind, using highly recyclable industrial materials sourced from regional suppliers.

Omron operates 44 Automation Centers worldwide, each designed to tailor solutions to local manufacturing needs and promote innovation in industrial automation.
