Technology solutions provider Codelab has selected Wind River’s Studio Developer to strengthen its development, security and operations (DevSecOps) processes, and embedded solutions and services based on Wind River’s VxWorks real-time operating system.
Software development for embedded systems is becoming increasingly complex; Codelab suggests a DevSecOps approach for the entire software lifecycle could help address this.
Studio Developer is an edge-to-cloud DevSecOps platform that is designed to accelerate the development, deployment and operation of these mission-critical systems. According to Wind River, it can increase the productivity and efficiency of the software workflow by using scalable cloud resources; standardizing automation pipelines; supporting cloud-based collaboration on a common platform; straightforward onboarding; and improved traceability throughout the software development process.
“Wind River Studio Developer gives us significant productivity and efficiency gains in our software development workflow. The platform’s flexibility and collaborative approach will simplify and accelerate our software development cycle – without compromising on the security expected in the industries in which we operate,” explained Radosław Borek, managing director at Codelab.
Sandeep Modhvadia, chief product officer at Wind River, added, “Studio Developer is designed to overcome the challenges posed by the increasing complexity of modern software development environments that hinder automation and DevSecOps approaches. Industry-leading companies like Codelab rely on the platform to accelerate their innovation and gain a competitive advantage.
